OTR Tyre Management Services

With over 20 years of experience in the tyre industry, and more than 10 years specializing in the mining sector for OTR (Off-the-Road) services, we pride ourselves on delivering comprehensive solutions to our customers. Including on site OTR tyre management services, ensuring that we meet all your tyre needs Safely, effectively and efficiently.

Tyre Range

We offer a comprehensive range of tyres, from passenger vehicles to Off-The-Road (OTR) and heavy-duty industrial tyres, tailored to meet the demands of the mining and industrial sectors. Our products are compatible with a wide variety of machinery and leading equipment manufacturers.

OTR Tyre Repairs

We also provide expert repairs on all mining and OTR tyres using the advanced one-stage airbag tyre repair system. This service delivers significant value to our customers by enabling on-site repairs and minimizing downtime, allowing tyres to be returned to service promptly.

Foamfill - Flatproofing

Foamfil is a liquid polyurethane that’s injected into pneumatic tyres, replacing the air with a tough, rubber-like core. This process prevents flats completely, making it ideal for off-the-road (OTR) equipment working in rough or hazardous conditions.

Once filled, tyres can withstand punctures and cuts without losing performance—keeping machines running, reducing downtime, and improving overall productivity. What sets Foamfill apart from other flat-proofing solutions, like solid aperture tyres, is the smoother ride it provides. It transmits significantly less G-force, which helps protect operators from injury and reduces wear on machinery, extending the lifespan of your equipment.

Manufacturing & supply of GETs

With our factory in China we design, and manufacture excavator buckets and aftermarket GETs tailored to meet client specifications.

This setup allows us to cut out the middleman, offering our customers direct access to high-quality products.

At Bernima Mining Solutions, we are committed to delivering solutions that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and drive success for our customers in the mining and construction industries. Trust us to provide reliable and innovative products that protect your assets and maximize productivity.

Why Use ground engaging tools

MACHINE PROTECTION:

Ground engaging tools (GET) shield machinery from abrasive materials, rough terrains, and heavy usage, minimizing wear and tear. By reducing direct ground contact, our GET solutions preserve equipment integrity, cutting repair costs and downtime risks.

INCREASED PRODUCTIVITY:

Efficient GET optimizes machine performance, ensuring smooth operation and heightened productivity on job sites. Consistent digging, grading, and cutting capabilities empower your team to accomplish tasks effectively, meeting project deadlines with ease.

EFFICIENT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS:

Our engineered GET facilitate easy installation, removal, and replacement, streamlining maintenance and reducing downtime. Quick access to wear parts enables swift resolution of issues, keeping your machines operational and maximizing uptime.

ENHANCED VERSATILITY:

Our diverse range of GET caters to various applications, ensuring compatibility with different machinery and job requirements. From excavation to material handling, our solutions offer the flexibility needed to adapt to changing project demands.

EXTENDED MACHINE LONGEVITY:

Investing in high-quality ground engaging tools not only improves immediate performance but also contributes to the long-term durability of your equipment. By reducing wear on critical components and optimizing operating conditions, our GET solutions help extend the lifespan of your machines, ultimately enhancing the return on your investment.

Engineered for Impact. Built for the Toughest Jobs

From bucket teeth to track shoes, our precision-built GETs are designed to maximize equipment performance, extend wear life, and reduce downtime across the harshest environments.

Ground engaging tools commonly used

1.) Bucket Teeth:
Bucket teeth are tooth-like projections attached to the cutting edge of excavator or loader buckets. They are designed to penetrate and break through tough materials such as soil, rocks, and gravel, facilitating efficient digging and loading operations.

2.) Cutting Edges:
Cutting edges are flat blades mounted along the bottom edge of buckets, blades, or other earthmoving equipment. They are used to slice through various materials during excavation, grading, and levelling tasks, providing a smooth and precise cutting action.

3.) Blades:
Blades are large, flat attachments fitted to bulldozers, graders, and other heavy equipment for pushing, levelling, and smoothing surfaces. They come in different shapes and sizes, including straight blades for general-purpose grading and curved blades for contouring and shaping.

4.) Ripper Teeth:
Ripper teeth are pointed attachments mounted to the rear of bulldozers and motor graders. They are used to break up compacted soil, rock, and asphalt surfaces, allowing for easier excavation, trenching, and land preparation.

5.) Wear Plates:
Wear plates are flat, sturdy plates installed on the underside or sides of equipment buckets and blades to protect against abrasion and impact damage. They provide a durable surface that resists wear from abrasive materials and prolongs the lifespan of the equipment.

6.) Auger Bits:
Auger bits are helical drilling attachments used with auger drives to bore holes in the ground for various applications, including foundation drilling, fencing, and landscaping. They come in different diameters and configurations to suit different soil types and drilling conditions.

7.) Shanks:
Shanks are sturdy, pointed components attached to rippers and scarifiers to penetrate and loosen compacted soil, rock, and pavement layers. They provide the necessary force to break up hard materials and prepare surfaces for further excavation or grading.

8.) Lip Shrouds:
Lip shrouds are curved, protective covers fitted over the front edge of loader buckets and excavator buckets. They shield the bucket lip from wear and damage caused by abrasive materials, extending the lifespan of the bucket and improving performance.

9.) Side Cutters:
Side cutters are additional cutting edges mounted along the sides of excavator and loader buckets. They increase the cutting width of the bucket, allowing for more efficient material handling and reducing the need for repositioning during excavation and loading operations.

10.) Track Shoes:
Track shoes are metal plates bolted to the track chains of crawler machines such as excavators, bulldozers, and track loaders. They provide traction and support the weight of the machine on various terrains, including soft soil, rocky terrain, and uneven surfaces.
